First hand this site is a site where both violance, sex, blood, goore and such will happen, so if you can't handle that...don't bother coming with complains about it later on.

How to apply to a character;
Do not sign up as a character from the show. Also after joining, do not start editing your profile before after you have been accepted to the role you applied for. This will get you a one way ticket to being banned, and we do not want that, now do we?
We have two opptions really. Either you pick one of the canon characters {One of those that was on the show } or original characters { Of those already made in the original character section, or you fill out an original character application and send in }
Also here is three questions that you have to add in your application;
One; Where do our plot ends, and in a few words, what is the main plot?
Two; Who was resently turned in to a human, but has been a vampire?
Three; Why is Silas back in town?

Characters;
You are allowed to have one character on this site, and one only. If the administration figure out that you have two or more characters around here, it's a one way ticket off the site and to being banned.
All characters can die, and either we can find a way to get him/her back, or you can make/pick another character to play.
If human, you can play as a ghost or we can get you back in some way.
Do not act as if your character is perfect. It is not. It has weaknesses, a soft spot...something, that can in fact harm them.
You are not allowed to change character at all times. It causes confussion, irritation, an unstable site and most of all a plot that will go up in smoke because of all the changes and going back and forth.

Roleplaying;
No RL drama, thanks. IC drama is great, and the administration wants it and will gladly see lots of it on the site. But do not mix it with out of character conversations!
If the administration gets to know that, you will serve a warning.
This site will not tolerate one liners. Of course at some times, but not the whole time.
Paragraphs is what we do around here, so please keep yourself to that.
Writing;
NO GOD MOODING!
Meaning the actions that your character do, is for you, and my character is mine!
Don't do it or you will be warned about it!
Four
Sexuality;
If you are a girl and want to play a guy character, that is perfectly fine and vise versa.
We don't care if characters turn gay, or gay characters turn straight. BUT KEEP IT IC!
Meaning, it has to be some development to the relationship and not only about the sex!
Five
Absense
If you know you are going to be away for a long period of time, please make a thread about it in the away tab, or tell one of the admins.
If this is not done, after two weeks, your account will be deleted and your character put open once again.

This is a the vampire diaries roleplay site. We can accept other fandom characters, if they are adjusted in to the vampire diaries world. Meaning.
If a Scott McCall joins, he is to be a werewolf like Tyler Lockwood used to be before he was turned in to a hybrid. He turn on full-moon, and his eyes are yellow, not red. This also count if a Edwart Cullen joins. he do not sparkle, he burns without a ring on his finger.
Make your character TVD, or not be accepted!
